>just picture yourself sitting in the park with your friends one day, having a cigarette or just hanging out there, you would be sitting there, and you’d think: “what am I doing here, when I could be working in something and earning money that I could apply later in some project or something else; or instead of been sitting there you could be studying something, gathering knowledge you can use to build something bigger, or simply work for someone buy at least you get paid a hell lot just for having that knowledge you cared in getting.

>I you think in these kind of terms, like if you are a young male in his twenty’s trying to make himself through this world is a win - win situation, don’t you think?

id selectors on CSS

-* using id selectors on CSS is like saying to the server: “ok, go to this location (id) there is only one of these so there is no way you are gonna get lost, once there look for all of these elements (<img />, <div>, etc) and do this, this, and that to them.

>even though the 8th entry in the index has a perfect match for the keywords searched (“the least the better”) is still outmatched for the first match by its amount of keywords on the actual page (page content).

>confirming this the importance of knowing what google “likes”, which actually are RULES given by google as a company and offeraing a service to the user, you.

I don’t know, I’ve never been good with babies or kids, I guess I still consider myself a kid, so there’s still that sort of competition between us, you know? Like we still, deep inside still try to prove who is better? Take the spotlight…

I see other people treating babies like, you know, babies, making comments of what cute he look, or how red his cheeks are, and I just come up to them and throw a handshake, like if we just made a business deal or something: “What’s up, I’m Leo”…

About Rage (id software)

Note: I wrote this some time ago, as expressed in some of the comments on it but I had just not decided to post it, didn’t come to mind honestly after I first wrote this article; what made me remind about this was going to the IGN website this morning and watching the headline for RAGE review that said: “A visually stunning, relatively safe shooter from id Software.” So it reminded me about my opinion on this game and how I was FUCKING RIGHT!!!… ahem, excuse me; ok here it is.

Is Perfection enough to compensate for lack of innovation?

Games like Rage or Fallout, games that don’t really provide anything “new” for sake or try to step out the boundaries into innovation and just aim for high quality values and production standards, where a world is presented the most beautiful and immersive as the current technology been used allows.

I’m talking about Rage in particular, that was one of the games that first caught my attention on the matter and how, with every trailer that came up, I never saw a single element of innovation, yeah, the enemy A.I. shown was outstanding, and the level of polished in every single action piece was top notch, developed by the “Legendary first person shooter inventor” they said, which only that could be enough to explain the mentality used through the development of this game and that ended shaping up a game that is big in scope but lacks a true feature that makes it stand out from the rest, great programmers don’t necessary equals great ideas just the ability to make them come into reality.

I understand a lot of surprises await along the storyline and developers don’t want to spoiled in the trailers or footage they release, just like in Fallout, I expect a fully fledged story with deep character development and all that jazz, but I having not seen something new, something groundbreaking in all these trailers even one month before the game’s release, starts to make me think, that maybe there is none, and just a more polished version of gameplay that I’ve been experiencing for the last decade.

LIFE ADVICE ... by a taxi driver

This taxi cab, on my way home starts talking, trying to preach basically, about how he was an addict and how I never should do drugs because he states they’re gonna take 20 years from my life, the guy new exactly how much time it was gonna take, and the thing is I started just analyzing the situation, thinking about this guy that was sure I was on something, and I thought about a few things, for example: this guy is a taxi cab, and I don’t mean it for money or profession or anything like that, but listen, I’m sure this guy does not want to do what he is doing at that moment, I mean, I sure he would rather had a business already establish , some parking lot or something so he didn’t had to drive a fucking car all day for a minimum amount of income, cause if I don’t like what I do, answering phone calls in a bloody call center, c’mon let’s be realistic this life has to do better than that, and I don’t mean monetarily speaking, but time; everyone would like to have time to do what they like to do, whatever that is, watching T.V until late night, going to their favorite places whenever they like to; so going back to this guy, my point is that: why does this guy, this person that is noticeable disappointed with the life he lives, thinks himself capable of giving some kind of life advice; If he knew the way to live this life and not be disappointed with it on its later stages he would be there to begin with.

If he was wise enough he already would’ve started saving to get enough money to start with a small business, some little and minuscule start to begin earning your own money and build up from there, he would’ve already started making phone calls, going to other businesses, finding merchants, so basically swallowing how many knowledge and contacts for once all the shit starts he would be as prepare as possible; doesn’t that makes sense, I don’t know, I sometimes see things in a different way than most people that just want to complicate their existence with thoughts and believes that they have decided to accept years ago, even generations ago.

And I’m not talking about the final happiness or any bull crap like that, I’m been honest and realistic here, monetary liberty is time, time to spend in whatever you like, if you plan to get enough money to have the ultimate orgy - party with porn stars you paid, drugs everywhere open to everyone there and then O.D in your bed after fucking Sasha Grey and Rebeca Linares on a bed full of coke and opium; I say go for it, just having the balls to do what you want, what you think, following your idea, and getting to accomplish it takes more balls than any of the people that is going to criticized you when they heard the news have.

On Smoking cigarette

I don’t get why people smoke, I mean I can understand the whole “looks-factor” to it, you know blowing smoke out of your mouth and nose like if you were a fucking dragon or something! Like if you could engulf someone on fire if they come near you and interrupt your thoughts, like: excuse do you know what time… No! Wait! Ahhh - runs away engulf on fire - ; you are just standing there looking badass, you don’t really need nothing else to look awesome, you can literally be in your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pajamas and with a pack of cigarettes and still look badass.

I used to smoke a lot but not anymore, I don’t know, it never seemed to take me anywhere, I could be just standing there smoking on break or whatever, a girl comes by but it always got to the point where I had to actually open my mouth and say something, and that actually seemed to ruin the illusion somehow… so giving out the lighter was the farthest that it took me.

And I never had a problem with the taste or the smell of the cigarette, I actually kinda liked that, there’s people that smoke and they are like: “I hate the taste of it” and you always see them chewing gum when smoking and using perfume all the time and I’m like: “So why the fuck you smoke?!”… You don’t like the taste or the smell, you’re hoping for a price in the box or something?

The first five minutes(-or so-) of this is just plain bullcrap jesus, and I’m talking about the whole: physical limitations can restrict you from living a fulfilled life, you think that just the fact that your body lacking a part, a limb, an eye means you life is less worth than any other’s?

Just like you said it in one of your videos (the War on the Abnormal – if I’m not mistaken), what happens when you just don’t desire something, like, partying in clubs, or doing cocaine or some other shit, does that make you been losing some valuable experience of your life?, just because you don’t enjoy certain things and choose not to do them, doesn’t mean you’re losing something; the same can be applied here, just because some people, have no legs - for instance – and because of this they can’t be professional athletes (I’m not saying is impossible, just saying it harder, just an example here) so they choose not to be professional athletes, and decide to focus their energy and enthusiasm in other things like, literature, or teaching or some other shit, this, does not mean they can enjoy life equally or even more in some cases than a person with no physical limitations.

…

You guys starting sounding at one point like just plain dumb kids: “no, no, no, I rather have legs; - no, not the legs, I rather having arms”; you think these frivolities, like our physical senses really delimit our quality of life, so, look to a guy like Stephen Hawking, so if what you say is true, and therefore “real” in every case, so you are saying that his life, the life of a person that can’t move his own body, just imagine, just having sex, if any, it’s just a pain for him (don’t even mention masturbate), you state that his life is “less”, it is less worthy than I person with a perfect body but that spend most of it living like a bum in the street, a crack addict or any person for that matter; do you see the inconsistency in there? And I’m just mentioning one of the most extreme examples; just picture for a second a person that has complete blindness in his eyes, the guy can’t see shit, so without a question, just seeing that factor, according to your way of thinking on this subject, his life, again, is less worthy than of the any other person with a body in physical normal conditions without even knowing the mentality, the way of shaping his ideas, that’s like qualifying two consoles by just looking their design (we all know 360 Is sexier).

This is outside of the whole Euthanasia discussion as a main topic of course, which I think is just having the choice of doing what the fuck you want with your life as long it does not affect another, and even if it does, you have the right to proceed with it; it’s just not Practical to do. It’s more of a conscious decision more than not been morally allowed to kill someone, for instance.

And many months later…

And this reminds me of the time when you were calling people Cowards for not been able to live this life without smoking weed and escaping from reality (you probably already know where I’m going with this) but you think that missing a limb, and arm or a leg is enough reason to justify “assassinating yourself” - which is a fancy way to say you’re gonna kill yourself by the way, (so I heard).

I could say If you are not strong enough to live this life without your physical body as it is now you just prove to be as weak and again, as coward; you could say is harder, it’s gonna be harder living this way but this, as the word implies is a comparison, it’s just gonna be “harder” if you compare it with your current life, and your current body restrictions.

I remember at one point in my life when I was playing video games 24/7 (not really 24 hours per day, I still used to sleep and occasionally drink water to stay awake) I used to be all paranoid with my hands, I would be like extra careful when cutting something, like vegetables or things like that, for me not to sever a thumb or a finger that would prevent me to play video games at the same level than others, but then I when through that phase and now, now that I’m not playing video games as much as I did back then I realize there is other things, other things I can be passionate about, like reading or jogging or any other shit, this makes me think that what I thought back then as an absolute, wasn’t; it was just me who thought about it in that way; so now I ask, what makes you think having legs now is an absolute to enjoy life, what happen with all the people who have achieve great things without even been able to see the world, or walk in their own feet, does it mean they are not living life at its fullest? I think, far from it, and is not what I think but what this logic shows.
